Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and responses to care accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to safety standards and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (New graduates with excellent academic records are encouraged to apply).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
