Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes in clinical status.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS may be required based on unit specialty).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
