Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for cardiac patients across diverse age groups
- Administer medications and treatments with precise clinical judgment
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, hemodynamic parameters, and vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health management and recovery protocols
- Document clinical observations and interventions using electronic health records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license with unrestricted privileges
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient advocacy
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
