Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions continuously, escalating critical situations immediately to the healthcare team.
- Document patient progress, clinical notes, and care plans accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use electronic medical records (EMR) and medical terminology proficiently.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a strong patient-centric approach.
