Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse units (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry)
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per protocols
- Document patient assessments and progress in EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Implement infection control and safety standards
- Educate patients/families on health management
- Respond to emergencies with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active MI RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- EMR proficiency (EPIC/Cerner preferred)
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility for 8-12 hour shifts
