Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with state regulations and hospital protocols.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient health status and respond to emergent needs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Document patient histories, assessments, and interventions in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventative care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Louisiana.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
