Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols.
- Document patient care plans, interventions, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop effective care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and patient emergencies within the facility.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- NICU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry experience is a plus.
