Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status 24/7 to ensure immediate intervention when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR) on a timely basis.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding their care.
Qualifications
- Active RN License issued by the State of Illinois (IL).
- BLS & ACLS Certification required (ACLS preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
