Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and monitor patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and care instructions.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing station and environment.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (New Gruates encouraged to apply).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance (HIPAA).
