Responsibilities
- Deliver critical patient assessments and interventions in high-acuity emergency scenarios
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols while maintaining precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control standards in all procedures
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Participate in rapid response codes and trauma activations
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for real-time clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Active DC RN license (or compact license with DC endorsement)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years ED or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong assessment skills for diverse patient populations
- Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
