Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency situations, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Respond effectively to codes and emergency resuscitation protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ER or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
