Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop patient care plans in emergency settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for critical patient interventions
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care instructions
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license (or compact state license)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ED experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
