Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Active Florida Registered Nurse license (or eligible to obtain immediately)
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
