Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, documenting all observations and interventions accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
- Respond to emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
