Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Document patient care services accurately in electronic health records.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning.
- Respond to emergency situations and code blue alerts effectively.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or BSN).
- Current, active RN license in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred for new hires.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
