Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing patient comfort.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and treatment progress accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader healthcare team to ensure holistic patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to promote long-term health and wellness.
- Respond swiftly to patient needs and emergency situations while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate, Bachelor’s, or Diploma).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to empathize with patients and families.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
