Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Monitor patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical history.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Documentation: Accurately record patient information, vital signs, and care provided in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized care plans.
- Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patient conditions.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Assist patients with daily living activities to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Compliance: Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and HIPAA standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. Foreign nursing graduates must have their credentials evaluated.
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Experience: No prior clinical experience required. We value potential and attitude over experience.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Soft Skills: Empathy, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification preferred or required upon hire.
