Responsibilities
- Deliver Patient-Centered Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans under the direction of physicians and charge nurses.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
- Collaborative Care: Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to hospital and CDC infection control policies to ensure a safe environment.
- Support & Education: Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
