Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient responses to treatment accurately and timely in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Provide clear patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and discharge instructions.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and coordinate code blue situations effectively.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Computer proficiency in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar).
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
