Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and evidence-based practices
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, administering treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS or NIHSS preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment and patient advocacy
- Strong communication skills with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
