Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care with compassion and precision in fast-paced clinical environments
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans using evidence-based practices
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses and vital signs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin (or compact state with willingness to obtain WI license)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in medical/surgical units
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or ENPC preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills with ability to manage complex patient cases
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in team-based settings
