Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in acute care settings with evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and document clinical data accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and NC Board of Nursing standards
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for leadership roles
- 2+ years of acute care experience in medical/surgical units
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
