Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in electronic health systems (EHR).
- Assist with patient education, providing clear instructions on treatment plans and disease management.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations, maintaining composure under pressure.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
