Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols, ensuring patient safety and privacy.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) to maintain compliance and continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and health maintenance strategies to empower them in their care journey.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control standards and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, medical-surgical preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a high standard of patient satisfaction.
