Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms by arranging sterile instruments and supplies.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
- Pass instruments and sponges to surgeons during operations.
- Monitor and record patient vitals and medical data.
- Ensure proper sterilization and cleaning of medical equipment post-surgery.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) credential.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or surgical setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterilization protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift equipment.
