Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and record vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed healthcare providers.
- Assess and evaluate patient conditions, documenting symptoms and reactions to treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, post-treatment care, and medication management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Tennessee.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
