Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Assess patient conditions, identify potential risks, and intervene promptly to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, assessments, and care activities in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond to medical emergencies with calmness, efficiency, and adherence to hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New graduates welcomed).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
