Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in 24-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry data and vital signs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions in Epic EMR system
- Mentor new nurses through our robust orientation program
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in Level I trauma center
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
