Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond immediately to critical changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or higher).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
