Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across multiple specialties including med-surg, telemetry, and emergency departments
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and maintain strict HIPAA compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN) in good standing
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
