Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with medical standards and patient needs.
- Medication Management: Safely administer medications and treatments, monitoring for efficacy and potential side effects.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, pharmacists, and the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring full compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly and effectively during medical emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and stabilization.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as a voice for the patient, educating them and their families on care plans and health management.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Compassion: Strong bedside manner and a genuine passion for patient advocacy and community health.
