Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and preventative care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
