Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to critical changes in condition.
- Document patient history, medical information, and care plans accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Provide comprehensive patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of New York.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
