Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to code blue situations and emergency medical requests.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
Qualifications
- Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Graduate Nurses with excellent performance are also considered).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as necessary.
