Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by licensed physicians and nurses.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any significant changes or abnormalities to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic health records.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff by adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
