Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications/treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and discharge instructions.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist with code blue activations.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Maryland (RN license required).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
