Responsibilities
- Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to hospital protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure a cohesive approach to patient recovery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documenting patient progress and interventions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and monitor vital signs to ensure patient stability.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (new graduates with exceptional credentials considered).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) and medical equipment.
- Soft Skills: Empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
