Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Document patient care plans and medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment strategies for patients.
- Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions, procedures, and home care.
- Ensure a safe and sterile clinical environment by adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Respond to emergency situations with composure and execute critical care protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to perform under pressure in high-volume clinical settings.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
