Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, documenting all interventions accurately and timely.
- Collaborative Practice: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver holistic patient care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations, utilizing advanced life support skills as required.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Documentation: Maintain precise and thorough electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vitals and alert the team to any significant changes in condition.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid RN license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic medical records and modern nursing technologies.
