Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to detect changes in health status.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide high-quality crisis intervention.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, multi-tasking environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
