Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition, promptly reporting any significant changes to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
