Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and promptly report any changes or complications to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide clear and compassionate education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Tennessee.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred).
