Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Maintain detailed patient documentation using electronic health records systems
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (or eligible to obtain immediately)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Recent graduate from an accredited nursing program (within 6 months)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to professional development and continuing education
