Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, or chairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff regarding patient status.
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the Charge Nurse immediately.
- Document daily care activities and incident reports according to facility protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or current enrollment in a state-approved CNA program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs.
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude towards patient care.
