About the Role
As a CNA, you will be the vital link between our patients and the nursing staff, providing essential daily care that enhances the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Support patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and feeding plans.
- Communicate patient needs and changes in condition promptly to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document all care provided accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or willingness to train.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
