Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and care plans accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and organized patient care environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree).
- Eligible for or currently holding a valid Louisiana State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR and BLS certification required (ACLS preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
