Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs and physician orders.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies accurately and in a timely manner while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, alerting the healthcare team to any changes or emergencies.
- Document patient care activities, including interventions, responses, and outcomes, in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred, with critical care experience a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
