Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health needs and develop or modify individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

  • Respond immediately to code blue alerts, emergencies, and critical situations within the unit.
  • Assist with patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Louisiana.
  • BSN degree preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
