Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population on weekends.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document clinical findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and initiate appropriate life-saving interventions.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (JCAHO, CMS).
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (acute care experience a plus).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy and safety.
