Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop evidence-based care plans during night shifts
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless 24-hour care continuity
- Document patient data accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to critical incidents and rapid response activations
- Advocate for patient safety and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years acute care experience
- Minimum 1 year night shift experience in acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Expertise in EHR documentation and critical care protocols
- Exceptional critical thinking and crisis management abilities
- Strong cultural competency in diverse patient populations
